Theft is something with which the residents of the Newtown area are now fed up. It has become almost a daily affair for many residents of AK, AL, and AI blocks. The problem is so worse then even petrol is not safe from the tanks of motorbikes. Furniture and bicycles are being stolen now and then.
Miffed with this, the residents even alleged that when they complained, the cops showed them a passive attitude. This is happening despite CCTV footage being submitted as evidence.
Residents say that it is not possible to catch the thieves due to the low number of police force, however, due to this attitude of the police, the residents of Newtown are fearing a big danger.
They demand that the police should immediately stop these thefts and other illegal activities, otherwise, it will become very difficult for the people of Newtown.
